We very much enjoyed our stay at the Solstice B&B. It's beautifully situated in the middle of nature next to a river. Fantastic views! The beds are very good, the breakfast was great and the hosts are very nice people. I recommend this B&B to everyone who is looking for a great B&B experience.

The most dramiatic view with a 360 panoramic visit: our idea of Paradise. Extremely nice and warm welcome from our hosts and their beautiful daughter Jessi. Perfect log cabin. Well worth the trip from Framce and convienient by located close to Jasper and Clearwater. Beautiful country, very nice hosts. Highly recommended.

My sister and I stayed with you in August 2009 and we l o v e d every second of our stay. We were both having hard times in our lives and you made us feel so at home! It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, your Bed and Breakfast, and your hospitality is as awesome as the breathtaking place you offer to share! If I ever get out your way again, I would definitely make sure I visited! I will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for a place to stay if they are in your area!

Hi All.

We took the opportunity to stay at the Solstice B&B in Valemount on our recent trip to Vancouver. As a matter of fact, we enjoyed it so much we stayed there on our way back the next week. It is run by a young couple (Leneaya and Giriish) and is spotless and inviting. The bed we slept in was the most comfortable ever, with fresh lovely bedding and a thermostat to set your own temperature, as well as a window to open. The breakfast we chose before leaving in the morning consisted of Decaf coffee for me (Very Important) orange juice, eggs done to perfection, bacon, hashbrowns, grainy toast and homemade jellies, and even pancakes for Laurie as he didn’t want toast. It was lovely. A great way to start the day.

The view from the deck is wonderful. Probably one of the best you’ll ever enjoy. This young couple just took over this business that was formerly Mountain Reach. If you go to their website www.solsticebb.ca you can get the proper directions. If you are travelling the Yellowhead, it is almost at the half mark of your trip to Vancouver. The perfect place to stop.

I don’t know whether spreading the word this way will help them. I hope so. If you do stay there, tell them Marge and Laurie sent you. We’ll see if this is worthwhile. If you stay and love it like we did, spread the word. We hope to make it a regular stop. They are a hardworking lovely young couple who deserve to do well.
